What's New?:

January, 2006 - All Things Pepper Moves to Oregon

We are going back home. All Things Pepper is moving to Oregon. While we have enjoyed the sunny days and blue skys of Arizona, it is time to return to our roots. The beauty of the Northwest is calling us back home. From January 28th to March 15th, we will be underconstruction as we move our operation to Oregon. All orders received during that time will be processed within 7 days. Thank you for your patience during this transition. We are very excited about the move and look forward to settling in.

February, 2005 - Masters Award at the Excellence in Fine Woodworking Show

In February 2005, I entered two mills into the Excellence in Fine Woodworking show here in Arizona. The two mills were made from Macassar Ebony and Redwood Lace Burl. The Macassar ebony mill was finished using boiled linseed oil and then waxed to a lusterous shine. The Redwood Lace Burl mill was finished using Cyanoachrylate adhesive and then polished to a glass finish. The entries won first place in the Masters category for turnings between centers. We are very excited about the award and look forward to participating in future events.

January, 2005 - Arizona Mesquite Company Exhibit

Beginning in early February, the Arizona Mesquite company will begin carrying our full line of pepper mills and gourmet spices. We are very excited work with them. In addition to carrying a huge selection of fine furniture, they support a large variety of artist from the Southwest region of the US and Northern Mexico. From dining room tables and beautiful oil paintings to hand hammered copper vases and pepper mills (grin), they are likely to have something you are interested in.

December, 2004 - Elected to Arizona Association of Fine Woodworkers Board of Directors

In December of 2004, I was elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Association of Fine Woodworkers. It is an honor and a privilege to hold this position and I look forward to contributing to the success of the club. I have had the opportunity to meet many great woodcrafters through this association and recommend the club to anyone interested in learning the craft of woodworking. Thank you to all the membership for this opportunity.

Outstanding woodturning projects with detailed instructions and step-by-step photos are presented in every issue. Feature articles cover interesting wood turners, innovative techniques, and exquisite works of art. These are just a few of the reasons why Woodturning Design has been highly acclaimed by wood turners throughout North America. June, 2004 - CrushGrind Mechanisms

All Things Pepper is now the US Agent for CrushGrind mechanisms. Early this year I met with the founder of CrushGrind to see if I could purchase his mechanisms for my pepper mill business. He indicated that his customers usually purchase 50,000 to 1 million mechanisms per year. I suggested that there is a market of hobbyists and craftsman out there that love to work with wood and want to build their own pepper, salt, and spice mills for their families, as gifts, or as part of a woodworking business. The problem is that these craftsman can't afford to buy the mechanisms by the thousands. The other challenge is that the mechanisms that are available in small quantities are of low quality and do not function very well. He and I agreed that his mechanisms should be available to this market and that All Things Pepper will be the company to provide them.
