These boring bits are specifically designed for craftsman that need to bore into the end grain of their blanks. The amount of time it takes to complete a bore is far less than that of Forstner bits and the finish left behind is far superior to that of spade or twist drill bits. All the bits offered by All Things Pepper feature a 10 mm shaft with a flat section (see photo) that is specifically designed for use with our bit extensions. This flat surface eliminates slipping and provides a solid connection to the extension that virtually eliminates vibration. They are constructed with HSS and feature carbide cutting surfaces.
